Internships @ FGS
Immediate Opportunity:
FGS is interested in interviewing interns seeking experience teaching middle school math. Qualified candidates should be excited about working with this demographic as well as patient and passionate about sharing their math expertise in a one-on-one or small-group setting. Scheduling is flexible around college class schedule. Total of four internships are available; minimum of a one quarter commitment required; preference given to applicants who can commit to the remainder of the 2008-2009 school year. (Morning hours between 9:45-11:25).

In the humanities classroom your role will include assisting students with language arts (reading, writing, spelling, grammar) strategies and fundamentals. You will work with students one-on-one or in small groups. You might also have the opportunity to support student learning needs in other areas, such as providing input about current and future assignments in social studies.
As an intern at Fairhaven Girls' School, you will be rewarded with valuable teaching and learning opportunities.
